and palm-trees.
Motu is a small island on the edge of a lagoon. We choose the landing and swimming stop with the captain. Weather, access to shore and permission from the owners are important.
French Polynesia
Polynesia on a private catamaran.
It's a very rare direction. My company.
01 / Island life
French Polynesia in private format Sailing Man Premium.
Three islands, seven nights on Bali 4.2 and access to Polynesia from the water: Ta'a Coral Gardens, Bora Bora Mouth and the Raiatea culture. Every day, it opens up a different side of the archipelago.
We'll organize the route and coordinate the trip: help with the connections, coordinate the shore excursions and local guides. You have to choose your quarters and what you want to fill this week. We'll record the services and extra expenses before booking.
Do you live in the United States or do you spend the winter in Asia?
Welcome to the ship. I'll see you in Polynesia.
People who want to go back to the sea
Jump in the water with the whole company. Stay on the shore until the last sunset. Get to know each other on board and plan your next meeting in a couple of days.

In Polynesia, we're going to collect a new story.
A small company, in its own rhythm.
Field Notes / Pacific Ocean
118 islands. The five archipelagos.
It's a very different pace of life.
French Polynesia is an island nation in the southern Pacific Ocean, connected to France and filled with its own Polynesian culture. Tahiti, Riataea, Taia and Bora Bora are members of the Society Islands.
Tahiti is meeting after a long flight. On the Riatea, we start our week sailing. And in Bora Bora, a reef separates the ocean wave from the lagoon with dozens of shades of blue. Passages and streams here require local knowledge; the route is chosen by the captain.

02 / Small rituals
Local fruits, coconut and Thai vanilla. On Ta, you can visit the producers, and on the shore, you can experience Polynesian cuisine. We'll arrange for the excursions in advance.
03 / Between the Sea Exits
After snorkeling, a beach walk, a lunch with a view of the lagoon or a few hours by the water. We'll pick a restaurant and a private beach on your request; we'll arrange booking and pricing separately.

I 'm going to tell you .
Traditionally, Thai guests are greeted with fragrant floral necklaces. At Faah Airport, Fare Hei, craftsmen collect them by hand - including from tiara, a white flower that has become a symbol of the islands.
Flowers are given at the meeting, shrimp necklaces are given for goodbye. It's a lovely way to say, "I'm glad you're here". Such a meeting is arranged separately; details are agreed before the trip.
Inside the lagoon .
Snorkeling with a coat is one of the strongest possible impressions of Bor-Bor.
With a local guide, we'll go to the right spots if visibility, flow and conditions permit. We're watching from a distance, not touching animals or corals. Mantes live on their own schedule: you can't promise a meeting.
Coral gardens, small fish and clear water make even a short trip with a mask a separate journey. The tour and its cost will be agreed in advance.
TAHITI / SURF CULTURE
Tahiti is one of the world's surfing legends. In 2024, the Olympic Games of Paris-2024 were held on the wave of Theahupo o.
You can experience this side of Polynesia before or after our week: stay in Tahiti and make a separate trip to the coast. Theahupo o is a challenging wave for experienced athletes; skiing is not included in the program of the catamaran.
The photo is of a surfer in Tahiti.02 / Our house on the water
Space, light and sea from all sides.
For this trip, we're planning a fresh Bali 4.2 for 2024-2025: four two-seater cabins and four bathrooms. The large living room opens on the roof, and there's a private terrace in front.
We'll attach the specific board, year and equipment to the booking confirmation.

01 / Personal space
Two-bedroom cabin, big bed, natural light and a place for personal things. For the trip, we choose a four-door version with four bathtubs.

02 / Common house
The firm's Bali elevator door connects the saloon and the food terrace. It's a place where there's no breakfast, no long conversations, no dinner. Large windows retain the feeling of the sea even inside.

03 / Closer to the sea
Instead of a nasal net, Bali has a spacious rigid deck with soft resting places. You can grab a coffee, light a fire, or just watch the water change underneath you.

04 / The Best View
The recreation area upstairs offers views of the lagoon and the islands. During the day they read and watch the sails, and at night they encounter the soft Polynesian light.

Between the transitions
A long breakfast at the common table. A book in the shadow of a sail. A conversation that starts in the daytime and goes on unnoticed until the evening.

03 / Example program
Ryathea → Taia → Bora Bora → Taia → Ryathea
Papayette on Tahiti is the international destination. From there, we fly to Riateia, where the sea section begins. Three days around Bora Bora, an island program on Ta and a return to base on February 26 - with stock before the catamaran is delivered.
February in Polynesia is warm and humid. Tropical rains, strong winds and cyclone systems are possible. The schedule changes according to the forecast; one day in the lagoon serves as a weather reserve.
Islands of the Society / 17° south latitude
It's a pattern without scale. The shoreline is simplified, Tahiti is approximated for ease of reading. Seas and parking lots are weather-specific.
February 18-19 · Pappeete → Ryatée. Flight to Tahiti, the night after the road and the domestic flight. This is the recommended reserve before landing on February 20th; tickets, hotel and transfer are agreed separately.

Meet me at the base at Rayatea: accommodation in the quarters, acquaintance with the captain and instruction. After catamaran reception - short exit to the Bay of Apu on Ta'a. First dinner on board and night at an agreed parking lot in the shared lagoon of the two islands.
About 3-6 miles · up to 1.5 hours. The time is approximate.
We'll stay in the marina late and leave in the morning.
We're going down Ta'a to the west side of the island. We're choosing a coral garden at Tau Tau Motte on condition that the local guide helps with the flow and entry into the water. On the shore, you can visit a vanilla plantation or a pearl farm. Stay at the agreed-upon secure parking lot near Ta.
About 10 to 18 miles · 2-4 hours. The time is approximate.
If the currents are strong near the coral garden, we'll choose a sheltered bay and a walk along the shore.
In the morning, we leave Ta'a Lagoon and head for Bora Bora. The ocean crossing ends with the entrance through the Tevanaue Passage from the west side. Inside the reef is a different color of water and the first panoramic view of the island. In the evening - Waitape Beach or dinner on board; we stay at the permitted parking lot.
About 25 to 35 miles · 5-7 hours. The time is approximate.
The passage is tolerated if the wind, waves or visibility prevents the light from entering the lagoon.
It's a day to get acquainted with underwater Polynesia. We'll arrange an outing with a local guide to the mante and coral gardens. Animals are not fed or touched; meeting is not guaranteed. The rest of the day we leave for a short walk along the lagoon and shore.
About 5-12 miles · 1-3 hours. The time is approximate.
A coastal walk replaces water activity with poor visibility or strong winds.
At the catamaran or with a local guide explore another sector of the lagoon - access depends on depth and conditions. We can land on the moat and have lunch on the beach by prior arrangement. It's a busy day, so if the forecast gets worse, we'll go back to Ta' earlier, keeping the supply to deliver the boat.
Inside the lagoon is 0-10 miles. The time is approximate.
If the forecast gets worse, we'll start returning to Ta'a a day early.

In the morning, we say goodbye to Bora Bora and return to Ta. On a long transition, you can stay behind the steering wheel next to the captain. In the evening, we pick a secure parking lot, have dinner, and watch the lights on the shore.
About 25 to 35 miles · 5-7 hours. The time is approximate.
The time of departure and passage through the reef is determined by the captain. If you're back on the 24th, we'll spend the day in a shared lagoon.

We're back to home base without much ocean crossing. If there's time, we'll go down the Riatea to the Taputapuatea complex. Fuel, quiet bills, and one last dinner together. We're staying at the base so we don't have to depend on the sea in the morning.
About 8-15 miles · 2-3 hours. The time is approximate.
The car ride depends on the time of return. Priority is fuel and base.

We'll have breakfast, pack up and rent a catamaran under the terms of the charter. You can then return to Tahiti or extend your trip to the islands. The international flight is more convenient to plan with a reserve, starting February 28.
No planned sea crossing. The time is approximate.
The time of delivery and the flight Ryatia - Tahiti will be agreed upon confirmation of the boat.
It's a travel plan, not a navigation manual. Parking spots, corridors in the reef and coastal activities are specified by the captain according to local briefing and weather. Meeting animals depends on nature.

04 / How to get there
Through Tokyo or the U.S. to Tahiti, then a short flight to Raiatea.
The international airport is Papeete, PPT. The island to land on the catamaran is Raiatea, RFP. The flight takes about 40 minutes between them. Don't confuse Riatea with Bora Bora Airport.
We recommend that you be in Polynesia on February 18-19, and in Riateia on February 19. The international return flight is better to choose February 28 or later. All dates are local.
There is a direct flight from LAX to Air Tahiti Nui in Papet, from SFO - French bee. For those of you who live in the States, it's a simple entrance to the journey: there's an internal flight to Ryattea.
Air Tahiti Nui ↗ French bee ↗From Bangkok and other Asian cities, we're taking flights to Narita, NRT. From there, Air Tahiti Nui flies directly to Papet. We're comparing flight days, baggage, and the need to exit the transit zone.
Tokyo is Tahiti ↗We're taking the road through an affordable hub to Tokyo and then on to Tahiti. The alternative is through the U.S. if the documents allow such transit. From Moscow, you'll usually need a few transfers; convenience is assessed throughout the route.
Help with the flight. ↗Tickets are paid separately. Specific flights, fares and connections are selected for the departure city and passport. On the way through Tokyo, we cross the date line: the return journey takes additional calendar days.
05 / Before the trip
If the connector requires departure to the city, baggage collection or airport change, we check the conditions for your passport. We'll help you with the Japanese visa and the paperwork. For transit without departure, the rules depend on flights and airports; the issuance of a visa is decided by the consulate.
French Polynesia is not part of the Schengen area. You need to check your citizenship and existing visas or your residence permits separately: some documents have exceptions. For transit through the U.S., you usually need a proper U.S. visa or a right to the Visa Waiver Program. We'll check the entire route before we buy tickets.
The French Visa Rules ↗I'm not going to. It's a trip with the captain. You can take part in the management, ask questions and try something new, or just relax. We're going to pick a comfortable rhythm for the transitions.
A rare destination, a small company on Bali 4.2 and personal travel preparation: from picking connectors to coordinating the coastal program. It's a camera format with your wishes in mind. The board, service and estimate are attached before payment.
I'm going to. You can join us alone, you can come in together, or we can talk about a whole cabin. We'll help you pick a location and get to know the team before we go.
