01 / OUR LITTLE ODISSEE

The sea in which
They're living stories.

Cozy Greek towns are being replaced by wild bays. There's a new cave over the cape. There's feathers and olives on the table, and another reason to stay until sunset.

We're going to explore the Ionian Islands with our small team. From Lefkada to Kefalonia and the white rocks of Zakynthos. And then we go back to Ithaca, like Odyssey once did.

There'll be quiet parking lots and two full seaside days. You can be a catamaran, study with a captain, or just watch the seaside change.

02 / WHY the name 's on it

It's my way home.
The word it all starts with.

I've been here a long time
He left Greece.
See you later.

Anton Timokhin
Travel author and captain

When I was a kid, my mom told me myths about ancient Greece. I grew up with these stories: Iliad, Odyssey, islands, heroes, and the sea, which is always bigger than man. Seeing all this from the water has been my dream for a long time.

For some reason, I left Greece behind. And then Christopher Nolan's Odyssey came out, and the stars merged. It's my favorite movie to date. For me, it's all about the path: through the unknown, through encounters and trials, to what really matters.

I think everyone will find something in Odessa. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out before you go. I'll go with you, Captain, explore this amazing region, land on the quiet shores and try to get back to our Ithaca.

We have the sea, sails and a whole week.
We'll write the rest together.

The sea is the pace.

The route is preliminary. The order of stops, distance and time of travel depends on the wind, the excitement, the seats in the ports and the captain's decisions. We go south with a stable weather window, and we return to Lefkada with supplies.

01May 8th · Saturday

We 're going to Lefkada .

D-Marin Lefkas

We meet at the marina, we unpack things in the cabins, meet the catamaran and each other. After the instruction, we'll take a walk around Lefkada and have our first dinner together. We're staying at the pier today. It's supposed to be a quiet evening at the start of the trip.

Population and acquaintance
Details of the day

Boat reception is usually in the afternoon. We'll confirm the exact time of settlement before the trip.

029th of May · Sunday

The first boat. Fiscardo

Leftada → north of Kefalonia

We're leaving the Lefkada Canal into the Ionian Sea. The first few miles under sail, the islands on the horizon, getting to know a boat in motion. By evening, Fiskardo: colorful facades, small shops and taverns right by the water.

25-30 miles . 5-6 hours of walking .
Details of the day

If we get there early, anyone who wants to go to Assos can land. It's an extra walk, not a mandatory catamaran hook.

03May 10th · Monday

We 're heading for Zakynthos .

Fiscardo → Agios Nikolaos

Our first big day at sea. We'll go along eastern Kefalonia, then cross the strait to Zakynthos. It's time to feel the scale of the sea: sailing, standing at the helm, or getting a book. By evening we are planning a north-eastern port of Agios Nikolaos.

≈ 38-43 miles · 7-9 hours walk
Details of the day

We leave early and only in the right weather window. We confirm the location in the port in advance; if the forecast is unfavorable, we stay at Kefalonia.

04May 11th · Tuesday

The white rocks. Blue depth

Blue caves · Skinarys cape · Navagio

The farthest point of our little odyssey. Along the northern shore, there are stone arches and a surprisingly blue water. If the sea permits, we will wrap around Skynari for the view of Navajo: a white rock wall, a narrow bay and a famous ship. We're going back to Agios Nikolaos.

20-25 miles . 4-5 hours of walking .
Details of the day

We plan on seeing Navajo from the water. We're not promising landing and swimming here. There are access restrictions in place, which we'll check before we leave. We can't go inside the caves on the catamaran.

05May 12 · Wednesday

Back to Ithaca

Zakintous → Vati, Ithaca

From the far southern point, we head for the island for which it all began. One more full-fledged transition, and the deep Bay of Vati welcomes us almost like a port from an old story. In the evening, we walk along the waterfront, find our table and talk about the way home.

40-45 miles . 8-9 hours of walking .
Details of the day

If the forecast changes, we start returning earlier. It's more important to keep a good supply at sea than to complete a beautiful line in a program.

06May 13th · Thursday

Wild beach and island night

Ithaca → Atokos → Meghanisi

We're going out of Vati to the little Atocos. If the bay is open for a safe stop, we land on a quiet beach, where local cabanches are sometimes found. We swim at will, we look at the rocks, and suddenly this is where the cyclops was hiding? We're leaving Meganissi and the little tavern tonight.

25-30 miles . 5-6 hours of walking .
Details of the day

We don't feed the animals and we don't worry them. When the tide is high, we choose the protected bays of Ithaca or Meganisi; we do not guarantee a meeting with the Kabanchis.

07May 14th · Friday

Last mile without a race.

Meganisi → D-Marin Lefkas

A short transition gives you time to swim in the weather again and calmly practice your maneuvers. We're going back to the base with supplies to refuel and deliver the boat. In the evening, a table, pictures and the same conversation: Where are we going next?

11-15 miles · 2-3 hours of walking
Details of the day

We plan to return in the afternoon, before the charter company's deadline. We don't take this stock with long stops.

08May 15th · Saturday

The sea stays with us.

Lefty · road home

We'll pack up, say goodbye to the catamaran and head for Preveza or Athens. The Odyssey is over, but the sense of distance, new people and your own Ithaca will stay with you.

Morning checkout
Details of the day

The time of displacement and transfer shall be notified after the charter documents have been confirmed. We'll arrange the return flights in advance.

If you have to go the other way

We'll stay inside the Ionian Islands.

In bad weather, we'll replace Zakynthos with the bays of Kefalonia, Itaki and Meganissi. Sami, a beach walk to Assos, quiet parking and more time on the islands will keep the mood of the week. The distance always depends on the conditions.

Dates on the shore

May 8 - settlement and acquaintance. May 14th we return to the base, May 15th morning we release the catamaran and head to the airports.

We'll confirm the exact time with the charter company.

OUT of Moscow / VARIOANT from the ROD

We can start the journey from the ferry.

Moscow → Dalaman → Marmaris or Fethié → by ferry to Rhodes → flight to Athens → transfer to Lefkada

From Dalaman, you can drive to your chosen port. From Rhodes you will fly to Athens, and from there to our marina. It's an option with several separate tickets: leave a spare between the ferry and the plane, preferably with overnight stays. Ferry flights depend on the season and weather; the schedule for May 2027 is checked before booking.

If you want fewer transfers, we'll pick a flight from Moscow to Athens via an affordable transit hub, like Istanbul. All airline tickets, ferries and transfers are paid separately from the participation and weekly budget.

08 / A LOT of important things

To go
It's easy.

Do you need experience in yachting?

I'm not going to. Anton is the captain of this expedition. Explain the rules of life on board and safety, show you how it's done. You can take part in the management if you want.

Will there be a quiet rhythm?

We leave time for walks and a common table in the parking lots. At the same time, Zakynthos makes the route a real sea voyage: two days will take about 7-9 hours. If you don't like long transitions, write down and we'll discuss the format honestly before booking.

Are you sure we're gonna hit Navajo?

It's our planned high point, but the approach depends on the excitement, the wind, and the constraints. We promise to choose the safe path carefully. Landing on the beach and swimming on the ship are not included in the program.

Can we go swimming in May?

We swim in the weather and the personal feeling: the sea of May can be lively. Get some wind and a warm layer for the evening. We'll send you a full list of things before the trip.

How much is involved and what does it involve?

Participation - 2 200 € per person If you have a two-seater. If you book a two-bedroom at once, 4 200 € for the cabinThat's $2,100 a person. The practice of catamaran management is a gift for the participants. Included are a seat on board, bedding, the captain's work, author's itinerary, a UNIQLO-based match, photos and videos from Anton, a drone album and motor tender.
